What does IGNITE stand for?

Well IGNITE means IN GOD NOTHING IS TOO EXTREME. This group has been together for two years now and we have finally come up with a name that works well with our mission statement.
We are trying our best as the youth pastor's to train these kids up to take part in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. For those of you who do not know what that is, it is found in Matthew 28:16-20. The Great Commission states this "All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."(NIV) That was Jesus speaking before His final ascend into Heaven. So you might be asking yourself what has that got to do with the name? Well as you read earlier nothing is too extreme for God, and that includes reaching the world for Jesus Christ. Christ has to commanded us to go into the nations and share the Word of God and the Gospel message and make disciples. In today's world though it is becoming increasingly harder to be received as being truth bearers. So if we trust in God we know that nothing is going to stop His Word from being heard and His Commission becoming fulfilled.
